What we hear has an impact on what we believe. If we listen to the news rather than the Bible, we will believe the world's lies rather than what God says. Constantly focusing on falsehoods leads to dishonesty. If something is repeated often enough and convincingly enough, the mind will eventually accept it. That is why, via preaching, Christian recordings, confession of the Word, and daily interaction with godly Christians, we should continue to hear God's Word.
